Default paint fade/oxidation

Normaly my baby is garage kept, but since I was recently "re-located"(Navy) to Key West, I no longer have my garage to keep the sun from beating down on my car. All the paint on the car is fine except for the hood scoop. It looks as if its maybe oxidized or faded in color. It use to be black, now its gray on top. Any recomendations on how to get that color and shine back?

Try some claybar, followed by some polish and wax.

if that scoop is a composite material you could try to rejuvenate
with silicon base product ( ex. armor-all)
it may help bring the color back....but it will be never ending

you could always repainted ..... the best option

should not cost that much to do....

good Luck......

Try the clay bar system that should help you out.
