I am going to apply this liquid polish. Should I also apply a wax after polishing? I have seen some threads that say you should but thought this product may not require it.

Yes - always apply wax after polishing... If you are using Ice Polish... try the Ice Wax... see how it comes out... Polishing doesn't protect like wax does...
Good luck and post pictures!!!

Polish at least on my car really brought the red out. Kind of makes it pop. And then you seal it with the wax. Have yo clay bared your car yet? If not I would suggest that. you will be really happy with the end result.

No, I haven't clay barred. Since I don't drive it in rain, snow, gravel/dirt roads and I have a garage I was thinking it probably doesn't have enough contaminants on it to be concerned yet.

You would be surprised. I bought mine and the first thing that did was the clay bar and WOW what a difference. Wash your car and rub your hand say across your hood and if it feels rough you need the clay bar. You will love the end result.

If your paint feels a little bit like sandpaper and not smooth as glass, you need clay bar... some peoples cars came prepped correctly from the dealer... Mine sat on the lot for a half year until someone wanted it - then they must have washed it... I had to claybar it immediately...

Turtle Wax Ice Liquid Polish also contains some carnuba wax. So adding wax afterwards is not necessary. However, for longer protection you can wax afterwords. I have used Turtle Wax Ice Liquid Polish and then a day or two later used Meguiars NXT Tech Wax over it and the results were very nice....
Turtle wax liquid ice is easy to use but I got much better results with Mothers Carnuba Wax. I've decided to junk the Liquid Ice. When preparing for a show, I use only Griots Carnuba.

Do you polish before you wax? I'll tell you what, I've done both... and I will never wax without polishing first again... I don't know if it's my color (metallic) or what... but it brings out the wet, wet look when I layer it on...

What's bringing out the wet look is the polish, not the Turtle Wax Liquid Ice Polish. It's neither a polish or a wax, it's just some liquid synthetic junk that doesn't even dry completely. I've been using other Turtle Wax products for over 30 years and I'm very disappointed with this one. Will not recommend it or use it again.
