Default How Do I Get Rid of Bug Stains?

Hello everyone,
Quick question. My mustang is white and I have bug stains on my front bumper. Of course I have tried a few different things such as scrubbing also used bug and tar stain remover. Nothing has worked so far. As most would know the front bumper is plastic so this makes it a little mroe difficult. I do plan to have it repainted in another year when I have the funds saved up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Tess

Try WD40 and it will not harm your paint either!

Try windex. If that does not work try Naptha. You can get Naptha at a hardware store, It won't hurt the paint but it will remove the wax. Or just find some bug and tar remover at the automotive store.

Thanks for the ideas. I have tried the bug & tar remover. It removed just a small amount of it. I will try the WD40 that is something I have not tried. Do I let it sit for a little while then wipe it off? I will look for the other item if the WD40 doesn't work for me

Try a dryer sheet. The little sheets that you throw in the clothes dryer for static cling. Just wet one down and wipe away. It works great on bugs maybe it will work for this too.

I have used the WD-40 and it has worked pretty good. Those are the worst to get off.

After you get the bugs off, give the bumper a real good coat of wax and this will make removal of any future bugs much easier.
