Default headlight restore

hey everyone i just wanted to give a post about a new product i tried. my lights were really yellowed to the point where i couldnt even see inside. well going to walmart i noticed they now offer headlight restoration but at 39 bucks im assuming a headlight. well being cheap i searched around in the store for a product they may have been using. i found this thing called crystal view for 20 bucks so i bought it to give it a try.

well after trying it i gotta say its a world of a differance. i used it on the front headlights and tail lights. the down side is ill recommend taking off the headlights and tailights to sand every spot. also getting extra 1000 grit and 2500 wet sand paper.

note you can see why on my headlight i recommend taking it off around the sides still being yellowed(imagine how bad the front used to be) also the backs had a bad fog overthem
this saved me alot of money because i was considering buying new replacements front and rear now i only need to repaint the back tail light housing and itll be good as new

sorry if everyone already knows about this product i just thought anyone who doesnt would apperiate it

My friend does this process. He also does the paintless dent removal. The head light restore is amazing.

I also had quite a bad fog over my tail lights, however i found that all I had to do was polish them a bit with meguiar's plasic cleaner and they looked a heck of a lot better.

3M Trizac system works well too, hand sand the lights with the sanding discs, then compound and polish them out. It helps if you have a mini 3'' polisher though...

Using abrasives to remove the damage is only one step. If you don't re-coat the lenses with a UV protectant, they'll yellow again, and quicker than before.

Default headlight yellowing

I have tried a couple of kits to sand and polish my headlights and still have some yellowing. Is there a product that works better? Also where can the UV protector be found? Thanks - it is frustrating so I hope you all have a remedy for me.
