ok....there are alot of cars in my town...mainly ricers lol...that have just the primer color on their cars with like totally out of wack colors of spoilers and or bumpers....
well my mustang is like candy red i believe...
well i saw online a fairly cheap Saleen Full body kit...spoiler, f/r fender/bumpers, side skirts....hood scoop....all that....less that $900 i think...and i was like...oh snap i should jump on this....BUT
the repainting of these would be a pain..and so would the applying of the body kit itself....
my friend bought a spoiler for his mustang and he had a guy paint it and it turned like a dang near whole different color...
so iono
i know painting is EXPENSIVE!! lol
i got an estimate and the guy said itd be over $3000
would it be easier (since my vinyl stripes are cracking) to just put on the body kit, and have them take off the stripes and just repaint the whole thing and paint on the stripes...?
what do u think the cost of sanding down the paint and taking off the stripes and then repainting the whole car with the new body kit....my guess is gonne be with the body kit and then the costs of painting and what not itll be over $4000?
what do u guys think?

I think that is what l would do. May cost a bit more but in the long run it will be nicer.

Be careful with body fixes/upgrades that seem like a good deal.
I replaced my front fascia after I nailed a racoon a while back and in addition to the $400 piece there was $100 for freight, $300 for paint, $275 for grilles to make it look complete, and now I have to repair a chipped corner.
Just beware and make sure you look at all the hidden costs! I wish I had!

My opinion: fix the vinyl and leave any other body pieces alone... Its almost impossible to get aftermarket paint to OEM quality.
