Default Vert Top Conditioner

Hey Gang,
Is there anything I should be using to protect my Vert. top? There looks to be a greasy spot in the middle. Anything to clean that or make it go away?

I have yet to use anything on mine (mine is cloth)....but I have thought about using this stuff...

I've been using the Ford stuff recommenced in the user's guide, to good effect. The cleaner cleans and the preservative preserves. What more do you need?

I've been using both 303 convertible top cleaner and protectant, the guy at the top shop recommended both products and so far they've worked just fine. The 303 protectant is also good for other vinyl surfaces so I use it on the vinyl boot as well as on the dash and other interior vinyl and plastic surfaces. I bought my 97 convertible used and it still has the original vinyl top which is in good condition except for a small worn spot on the driver's side, next to the back window (the guy at the top shop told me that he's seen this same worn spot on other Mustang convertibles, 94-04, it rubs when the top is lowered for some reason). I keep the car in the garage when I'm not driving it so I'm sure that helps with the top staying in good condition.
