Default Need solution to protecting car on way to shows

I have two Mustangs (98gt and 2001 Bullitt) and I am looking for a way to protect paint on way to car shows. What I really want is some of the white thin film I see on the front and hood of some new cars when they are shipped/trucked to the dealership. Does anyone know where this product can be found/purchased?

How about clear bras... for the front end?

Here is a product I found that is what you are looking for {by the way, I searched the web for "new car film" after trying many other searches}...
Film

The New Novacel 9377 Offers An Ecological Solution For Protecting Cars Bodies During Transport And Storage

Novacel, the world leader in the industrial surface protection solutions, is pleased to introduce the Novacel 9377. This new solution is the first adhesive film without solvent that is designed to protect car bodies during transport and storage. Novacel’s latest effort is in furtherance of its commitment to a Sustainable Development Policy.

The Novacel 9377 features a 60 µm adhesive film with a polyolefines basis; this white film protects car bodies against external aggressions (e.g., acid rains, bird droppings, tool marks), shielding the car for up to six months in outdoor conditions.

The new film is particularly competitive on the automotive market owing to the fact that it is manufactured on a new coating line using a machine that offers qualitative and economic advantages.

On request, Novacel 9377 can be customized to include a company’s logo or trademark, advertising message, or technical information. Such individualized elements are printed directly on the film.

The Novacel 9377 is supplied in rolls of 650 feet, and can be anywhere from 1 1/5 inch to 110 inch wide.

For further information or for a free sample, please contact:
Novacel Tel: +33 (0)2 32 82 72 33 email : novacel@chargeurs-protective.com website www.novacel.fr

Yep the clear bra. I have one and it is great. Well worth the money. It is pricey but you will love it.

I've been thinking of getting a regular nose bra for my car when I take it on long distances. I'm not sure if it might be more hassle than it's worth, though. I've also seen people use blue painters tape, the type found at Lowe's and Home Depot.

OK, so I've added a few things to it. Check my Profile - too many to list here.

I have seen that painters tape as well and it does work. But if you want something that will last and not having to put tape on the front end of your car the clear bra is the way to go.

Where can you get the clear bra? And do you think they sell one for a 66? Any issues with damaging the paint? Thanks
