How much does it cost to do window tint?

How much does it cost to get a nice dark tint job? My car is cherry red and i want the windows as dark as possible. Anyone know how much it would cost?

it shouldn't cost anything more than $150 i got mine done for $99 and they did mine 20% tint..but that IS illegal...at least in my state. some shops won't even do it if its not legal darkness. massachusetts is 35% i wouldn't go any darker than 20% mine is very dark (you can barely see inside during the day) and at nite it is QUITE hard to see out ...especially when backing up good luck , maynard

?! All the car stereo/tint shops are shady in the first place. If they get money, I'm sure they'd be more than happy to limo your entire car. Haha.

I got my Civic limo tinted in the 3 back windows and dark on the front two for $100 cash. If you go to the right place and pay cash, they're always willing to haggle.

I got my windows tinted recently, they were willing to do legal or illegal with a lifetime guarantee. I decided on getting 5% (which is limo tint) on the sunstrip, back window, and back-side windows and 35% on the driver and passenger side windows. All of these are the legal limits for cars in my state. It cost me about $271.00 total.

However, after seeing the completed product I think I should have risked the possibility of getting a ticket and got at least 20% on the driver and passenger side windows

Anyone know what the legal limit is for Texas? Cops around here can be bastards so I just want to know how dark I can go without getting a ticket.
