Post Medium Parchment leather headache

I just got my New '07 Mustang GT back from the dealership after they installed a brand new PCM, IGN. Coil... cyc. 7 not recognized W.T.F. was all that ??? Is that what you call Ford quality control?
My point is do you think they would have put something on the seats before sitting in them what a dirty mess! The seats looked like they were 2 years old with grime. I managed to clean it up after awhile except for one spot that just won't come up? Can you guy's recommend a product or share what works for you?

I've used "Scrubbs" and managed to get some oil/grease marks off the carpet ans seats. They sell them at Graingers.
You should take your car back and to the dealership and make them clean their sh!t up.

I would make the dealer clean it.....As for cleaning my interior,i use cheap dollar store orange cleaner. It works great.I then go over my leather with Maguieers leather cleaner and conditioner.

Whenever I pick up my car from the dealer, I look over it pretty good, including under the hood. If something is wrong, I let them know then, not several days later. They'll probably say it happened after it left the dealership. My dealership is good and I've never had a problem there but I still look because I have had problems at other dealers.

I do not see why you are complaining here, you should be at the dealership, your salesman in tow, having a "talk" with the Service Manager. Than telling us how they cleaned it or gave you new seats.

One of the very few things I dislike about my F-150 is the fact it has Parchement (or tan) leather seats. I work hard at keeping it clean, but it does indeed take work. What sucks is it is on a truck where I should not have to worry about keeping it clean. Parchment interior is a sufficient reason for me not to buy any particular car. I always prefer black, charcoal, grey or as in my Stang, red interior just for the reason of keeping it clean.

By the way, I use a Zano product to clean and condition all my leather seats. I know that Mcguires also has a good leather clean/conditioner too.

I'd try a Mr. Clean Eraser. It is like a sponge they work great on all kinds of things including car interiors.

That's it! I couldn't think of the name, it was on the tip of my tongue because I used that awhile back to take black ink off my leather sofa that my little son wrecked with a pen and it works like nothing I ever used before! As far as keeping it clean from now on I'll use your guy's cleaning and conditioning suggestions. I didn't notice the mess at first because it was dark out when I picked up the car and if I bitched I just wouldn't be able to trust that they wouldn't try to take it out on my car next time I came in for something. People are just not trustworthy anymore. The owners usually are but not the people that work for them, they just don't have respect for the job or their employers like they used to.

Lexol's cleaner and conditioner works good. When you clean the seats first, and then put conditioner on, it helps keep the leather looking new.
