Default Where to start?

So I just bought a lot of Meguiar's products. I bought the clay bar, wash, wax kit, and scratch remover, and 2 micro fiber towels. any info or experiences with these products would be great and much appreciated. My dad just offered to give me his buffer for free, so i might be using that.

Clay bars are great, but if you keep your car clean with weekly cleanings you should be ok without one. I thought I would get my car gleaming but after I used it nothing came off the car and the clay bar was as clean as when I started. If you really want to use the clay bar and you clean your car regularly you should only need to use it once a year. Also when you use the clay bar and have any pin stripes or rally stipes the clay will go under the the vinyl, I found that our the hardway and it is a ***** to get out.
As for a buffer be carful with them, you can rub the clear coat right off the off the car is you are not used to using them. I spoke to a guy who had a Cobra Terminator ( Cleanest care I ever seen) and he said that a detailer told him they would not detail his car because the clear coat that come from ford is very thin and they did not want to damage it. Me personally I like using some elbow grease, but it does take alot longer.
Migures is a great wax and polish, I personally use Eagle One nano wax, but I am sure they are pretty much the same.
Microfiber is the way to go, I wont let anything else touch my car. Try to keep one towel for the initial dry and the other for the finish. If you have an air compressor blow out the cracks other wise you get the post wash drips that showup after everything is dry. That is something you dont want when you spend 5 hours cleaning your car.
Post some pics after the wash and wax.

I'll defiantly post pics on this thread after I finish. Me and my friend are gonna designate some time to really wash our cars lol. Thanks for the info!

Meguiar's make good products, i use them myself. I wouldnt buff the car unless it needs it. When i claybar my car ill do the following: wash...claybar..wash again...wax.

Wash your car and after you dry it off rub your hand over the paint. If it feels rough you will need the clay bar. You will be amazed at the difference in the paint.
