Default Removing dust from exterior

Hi, I would like to know how to remove dust from my exterior. One or two days after i wash my car, I have dust. I have considered:
1. Rinsing and then drying
2. Rinsing and using detailer while the car is still wet
3. Using just the detailer Any suggestions would be appriciated. Thanks

Three words...

"California Car Duster" - works great!

Rinsing and then drying is dangerous... hair line scratches and swirls.

Detailer is made to work as directed, usually without water. using water will dilute its lubricating properties and its ability to trap dust.

California Duster works great to, but really this comes down to how much dust are we talking?

Another vote for the California Duster. You can find them at most auto parts stores. They work great and don't scratch your car. I keep one in the trunk, small one, and a full size in the garage, I use it on my Goldwing also. The more you use them the better they work.

Thanks for the input. I'll get the duster. Any comments on Scott Drake products. I want to do the hood struts and I like the look of theirs the best.

If it is just a lite coat of dust I always use my detail spray on my car it works great. I do that every couple of days and it stays looking great.

Your going to love the duster. I had the same proble myself, I was washing it compulsively just to keep up. Finally someone at the auto parts store showed me the california duster and its just amazing. Its perfect for what your talking about.
