Default Water spot help.

My wife's truck has some water spots on the right side of her truck. Any ides on how to remove them? I tried Meguire's Cleaner Wax for moderate oxidation but no luck. Spots are very small. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've used white vinegar and water and also CLR with pretty good success.

I found that Meguire's clay cleaner kit works the best.

OK, so I've added a few things to it. Check my Profile - too many to list here.

Clay bar would take those right off and them you could put a wax on her truck for her.

Do you use just vinegar or do you dilute it with some water? like a 60/40 mix and do you use like a sponge or teri cloth to remove the spots?

I bought an 07 mustang convertible It had water spots on the windows that I did not realize were water stains. I bought the car on a wet day after a snow. After they cleaned the car I drove it off before it dried. Only to find a few days later when I washed the car and windows it had stains. I done some research and finally figured out that it must of have been acid rain. The car was originally from New Jersey. So I tried the CLR and few other things and finally tried 0000 steel wool. The combination of steel wool and vinegar seamed to help but did not take them out. So I tried 20000 grit sand paper and vinegar. That worked!!!!! You have to be careful not to do it to hard or you can scratch the glass. But if you have the kind of spots that I had. The ones that just don't come off no matter what you try. Then try 2000 (thousand) grit sand paper and vinegar. It really did the job. I started on my small side glass and by the time I got to the windshield I was getting very good at knowing just how much pressure to apply and how much I needed to scrub. I made sure to rub in one direction and not do a circular motion because I did not want to leave any scratches. Keep the glass wet as you do it and then dry it off to see if you need to do more. it only took me about an hour or so to do all the glass on the car. This is the only thing that would take my water spots off.
