I just use the micro fiber towels. It does take longer but I do not mind. My dad gave me some of those sham wow towels but will not use them on my car.

Never used it, looks similar to the regular shamy (absorber) i use on my cars. The only diff is it is supposed to hold more water. And microfibers arent really used to dry off a car, used to take off wax. It would take FOREVER to dry off a car with a micro.
Actually, I use microfiber towels exclusively. I find they work better when they get wet. Once they get to the point they can be wrung out, they work very well. I do use two, however. The first one gets the heavy water off, but a drier second one dries the car and gives it that real shine. Otherwise, you're just pushing water around.

OK, so I've added a few things to it. Check my Profile - too many to list here.

No I don't think so I have never tried them on the car I just use the Micro fiber. Justa creature of habit I guess. I should try thry on the expedition and see how they work. My dad had some as well and he used them and never heard him complain about them but he is not anal like I am.

I completely agree this is how I do it too.
I've also been wondering about the shamwow. The guy in the commercial looks like a creep, but the product seems nice.
