Default ShamWow Good or Garbage

Has anyone used ShamWow to dry their car after washing and if so how well did it work?

I've seen the commercials. Just seems so cheesy.

I'm game if it works. Black cars are so easy to keep shiny.

That's a new one on me. If it works as well as "The Absorber", it's good.

Yeah, but the shamwow picks up like 5 gallons of water... Haven't you seen the commercials!?

After the California Water Blade/Jelly Blade... My microfibers are only for touch up - I don't have to ring them out anymore!

I haven't tried the shamwow... but if you get one, post up your thoughts and a product review!!

I use Microfiber now but they don't seem to get the job done as fast as I would like.

I agree... They just don't soak up water like they should.

+1, they're good for instant detailing... I even purchased the multi pack of the wax applicators for $5 and use them to put my wax and polish on - much better than the micros... I use Micros to take the wax off, that's about it these days... although I have like 30 of the little guys....

Amen to that, stlwagon, you need to use more than 1

Mark doesn't know what a bucket looks like... neither does his car...

I just can't seem to bring myself to take someone who looks like Popeye with a microphone seriously. I mean, could they have made the commercial any more ridiculous?

OK, so I've added a few things to it. Check my Profile - too many to list here.

The commercial sucks but does the product. That's
what I want to know.

Never used it, looks similar to the regular shamy (absorber) i use on my cars. The only diff is it is supposed to hold more water. And microfibers arent really used to dry off a car, used to take off wax. It would take FOREVER to dry off a car with a micro.
