It's really all a matter of taste, the Mustangs have enough styling on their own to get looks in any color. I would suggest looking online at different colors and paint schemes and seeing what you like best, you're the one who has to live with the color you paint it. But since you are on here looking for suggestions mustangs always look good in red, blue, and black. A nice candy-apple red would be good, or I thought about painting mine like the old Shelby's- red with white stripe, blue with white stripes, or white with blue stripes. I ended up painting mine windveil blue with charcoal stripes, subtle but still a tough look.

candy- apple red is a pretty hot color, especially in the sun

What color is it now? just know it takes a lot more work to change the color, you will need to paint under the hood the engine compartment, the door jambs, the trunk. IMO it looks really bad when the car is one color and the hiden areas are a different color.
