Default Putting my pony in the stable for the winter

we got our first snow here in indiana today and ive decided it wont be long before i have to put my mustang up for the winter. it hasnt been waxed for a few weeks now and needs a good wash. here in the next few days i plan to do just that. if i go ahead and wash, dry, then use a clay bar..will it strip my old wax for me? also i would need to wax after the clay right? theres just some road tar and bugs n stuff i need to remove so i might as well do the whole car while i have time right? just lookin for a few tips to keep my pony pristene till spring, cuz she'll be getting a s/c when the weather clears up in 4 months. any tips and suggestions on good brands and a quality outcome as far as shine and protection will be welcome, thanks!

The clay bar will take it down to the clear.

Like I have said before I use Adams Products. They have a whole line of fantastic products from clay bar to your polishes and waxes. But there are plenty of good products you can get at your local auto parts store. You will need to wax after using the clay bar. Your paint will have no protection. Normally after I clay bar I will polish it and after that I will wax it. The results are great. Have fun.
