Does anyone know how to clean white wall tires? The tires on our '34 Ford are dirty and I can't get the white clean even when we wash the car. Anyone have any tips???

yep, thats the whip. its called bleach white. if they are dirty, spray some on, wipe it with a soft brass brush, or even a brillo or sos pad, rinse. it works great. ive used it for years on my white letter tires on my truck. my dad used it on his white walls. once they are clean, next time you just have to spray and rinse, done. i used some on some guys trucks at work, now they are hooked

+1 on the Bleche-Wite. That stuff is amazing. To keep them from getting so nasty, get a little black magic and put it on a rag, wipe the white wall with it and then wipe the excess off with a dry rag. It's a great trick my dad used for years.

Awesome. So they will clean right up then?
I'm worried that they are just stained for good...

I used to do the brillo thing, too. Hydrogen peroxide also helps to brighten the whites.

OK, so I've added a few things to it. Check my Profile - too many to list here.
Bleche white by Wesleys is great. I use a fairly stiff scrub brush and scrub it in. It is also good for cleaning black tires, mud flaps, and of course white letter tires. I also have mixed up a simple green solution with water in a spray bottle and that works just as good. I have never hurt my rims with that, but people say to be careful spraying certain cleaners on aluminum or chrome.
