Dont worry about high tech wheel cleaners, warm soapy water is all you need. There are chrome polishs like Mothers and Turtlewax that will help protect the finish. The thing about chrome is it gets dirty VERY easily, so keep on hand many lint free rags to dry-wipe your wheels.

Chrome is so easy to take care of. Like the guy above said, use water with either soapy water or Simple Green.

I was into BMX freestyle for years and the key to having good brakes was a nice clean rim. Simple Green removes dirt, grease, and anything else nasty. My advice would be to go to Home Depot and buy a nice sized bottle of Simple Green concentrate. Spray down your rims nice and good (dilute it if you want) and let it sit for a minute or two. Wash it all off with a hose and dry it with a towel. Blast it with compressed air if you really want to get all the moisture out.

Don't waste your time on expensive rim cleaner.

The main thing to remember when you have a chrome wheel is that they get dirty easy and fast...the answer:clean them. That means if they look dirty clean them even if that means you washed em yesterday and drove through a puddle.....clean em again and the guys are right, warm soapy water is the best but dont forget the inside when you are washing them.If you can reach your hand inside there and wash the inside clean it as often as you do the outside. This will keep you having a great lookin rim.Chrome rims that are shiny on the outside and black on the inside look like crap.

I use Meguiars Quik Wheel Detailer....it's mist on and wipe off with a micrfiber cloth. Works great and is very convenient. Highly recommended.

I just use my detail spray to keep them looking good. Chrome is real easy to care for.

After you have the chrome all cleaned up, put a coat of car wax on them and they are easy to wipe clean.
