Mine is done and smoothed here are some pics of it. I felt justified to break outside my on-going thread for my 93, I wanted to tap into here and show it off


Here are the pics of my engine bay as of yesterday. As a side note, the paint and clearcoat are DRY when these pics were taken. IMO, the pics just don't do it justice, rightfully so, as it should be. Some pics are better than others. If it were someone else's car I wouldn't have been shaking as much I don't think lol

The cowl is not the finished product as far as mounting, instead it was put in place just to "go with the flow of the paint" etc. Screens (blk) and white screws later once the wiper arm guts and the like are put back into the underside.

BTW, none of the paint has been buffed out yet

honestly, I have everything its just a matter of getting it all put together. The trans came the other day and now its just a matter of it getting the paint done which will be tuesday than I can move the car to the install location to start putting the motor and drivetrain back in. If you all want more info on the ca and the project then just check out my other thread, pomise you won't be disappointed with the pics and the details

btw Jim, I'm moving out to Cali next month, the car will be with me in May and I'll be there for 2 years. Pretty sure we'll eventually meet up at Knotts if you go or other car shows, FFW, WFC or something like that

Car is done with paint for now. Now its time to get to work on putting the power back into it

Ah just the usual sleepless nights, and pipedreams trying to get to sleep about a year ago. Now its kinda tappered off, but when it gets closer I'm sure it will return, the sleepless nights
