hey i just got my car back from the body shop a month and a half ago. the car had to be repaint to hurricane ike and a couple of 12' tall garage doors falling on it. my question is would it be ok to use a quick detailer inbetween washes? i hate water spots and i cant get rid of them because of the dew and fog every night in s.e texas. the guy at the body shop said not to wax it for 90 days. will the spray detailer hurt the paint or clearcoat? thanks guys

Sure you can that is pretty much all I ever do. Rarely wash it. I do not drive it to often but in between washes detail spray is perfect to use to keep it looking good. If you have water spots on her use the clay bar system and it will take care of those spots. Just make sure after you clay bar you polish it and wax also. The clay bar strips all waxes off the car.

I wash my 66 once a season (barring unavoidable mud, etc). In between its dust brushed before each outting, and spray detailed every 2nd or third outting. Mind you, mine is 100% a toy, not my daily driver.

And that is exactly what I do. I rarely drive mine.
