Not sure if this is where to post this but, I do private jet interiors for a living, and the all black interior in my car is boring. Thought I'd bounce some ideas around. I was thinking red suede inserts similar to the terminator seats, as well as on the door panels, or should I spring for the leather and make the seats all red. Also redoing the headliner, also with suede but wit a sewed seam every 10 inches to bring back the old style. Any comments would be great.
Thanks.
OK, I happen to love the "insert" look... breaks up the sea of red quite a bit... also, maybe leave the doors black with the red welt around the door... that would look too and again, not too much red...

The seats would be black leather with red suede inserts as well as the doors. i was thinking of sewing pleats in he doors kinda like the 2010 to match the seat a little better.

That's going to look great... how much money and how much time does that take you normally? Just wondering...

Awesome! I almost got a black 'Stang with red interior, but when I decided on the Candy Apple Red, I felt the optional red interior would clash with the exterior (especially when the top was down!). I would love to get insets like yours if the red matched the paint.

There's a shop in NC that could do that for ya, the owner is a friend of mine. His name is Brian at Port City custom upholstery. I don't know if that's close to you or not, but i know he'd hook you up.
