Im looking to buy a GT hood scoop for my 2001 V6 Mustang. I've come across two options- buying one for $170 custom painted, or $95 and have it painted. I plan to install it myself, so I just need to know how much it would cost to have it painted, or if I would be better off paying $170 to match.

well thats with paint included... lol i shoulda mentioned that 88 if i had my own paint

if you install it yourself besure to get the inch wide 3mTape not 2 strips of quarter inch that usually comes with them

glue is even better IMO some nice gurillia glue. but once u get it on u gotta hold pressure till it expands out. and it will never come off

Here is a pic of my scoop installed. I got it painted for 60. Decided to go with black instead of silver- I plan to buy black 17x9, 17x10.5 bullitt wheels soon. That will really set it off.
