Hey guyz, I am from Boston and I have serious rock chip damage on my bumper and hood. I am almost convinced that a clear bra will prevent this problem in the future and worth the investment now and I want to get it installed as soon as I get my car repainted because the installer in boston suggested that it would have the best result. So i would like to hear your opinions about it?
I have the clear bra on my Saleen and it is the best investment that I have made. It will certainly help against rock chips. You may need to go and get your front end resprayed and then have them apply it. It is a bit pricey but in the long run it will save you money.

If my car was a highway everyday driver or I got lots of chips - I would very much think about getting a clear bra for my car... do a forum search, there have been a lot of threads in the show and shine area about them!
I would think you should let the paint cure before covering it... but ask your body shop about it...

Yeah we put those on fairly often at my work and they really good feedback. I still dont really like the line that goes across the hood but it really isnt too noticeable and you probably get used to after a while.

That line across the hood is barely detectable and it is alot better looking at that then a bunch of rock chips in the paint.

That is true, its just I really notice things like that on anything. I have very few rock chips and scratches on my car and I keep them covered up so well but I can see them from a mile away lol.
