Are they clearcoated with paint or powdercoat?

the only to polish is to strip the clearcoat and polish the aluminum
if you try to polish the clearcoat the only thing you will do is scratch it all to

I've got the stock OEM 18" polished Bullitts. I'm sure they are clear coated.

Are the backs of the rims clearcoated as well as the front?
