I'm getting a GT hood scoop here sometime next week, its Dark Charcol Grey, and I want to paint it black. I don't want to pay somebody else to do it.

What products should I look at getting to properly remove the old paint, prep it, and paint it? Can I get a decent black paint and clearcoat in an aresol can?

Any help would be appreciated.

pm avery 012 or look around th threads he did some nice paint on his car himself, but it was interior.
he may know.

if you got a spray gun and air compresser you can paint it yourself, you just need teh paint, and some sand paper, a sheet or 2 of news paper some primer and lotsa plastic
