Hey all I was at the World Of Wheels car show last night in Calgary, Alberta and ended up at the SHAM WOW! booth I have to say they really do work... no tv magic when into that commercial it does what they say it will do.. he even did the rug test at the booth and it worked amazingly well and soaked up all the pop from under the rug!
I went and washed my car this morning and used the Sham Wow to dry it and it is amazing no streaks and no water i really suggest picking up the sham wow if you ever have a chance. you just wash them in the washer take them out ring the water out and there ready to be used again! thats my 2 cents. just amazed that they actually work!
Ive heard both good and bad things about SHAM WOW. I have an absorber that works very well on my cars and the only difference is the SHAM WOW holds more water I believe. The absorber doesnt leave any streaks or anything behind either. Im surprised they actually work too lol. Something about that infomercial looks too fishy.

hmmm

The transformation has begun!
If Sham wow works as well as the absorber its a great accessory to help clean a car, but more then triple the cost of the Absorber. I've had Absorbers for over 18 years and they keep on workin
about the pop on the rug thing at the demonstration he poured half a bottle of coke on the little piece of rug like in the infomercial, then just dropped a sheet that was folded up (full sheet folded up 3 times length wise) so it was just a little bigger than the rug. with no pressure it took off most of the stuff on top then he put pressure on the sham wow for 30 sec and lifted off and the half of the rug he put pressure on was spotless. complete white again while the other side was still the brownish color from the pop. i dunno he sold me on it and it's worked well so far!

Ive seen that demonstration live, it is something else. I was completely shocked it actually worked like on tv!
I was wondering the same thing. I was sold on the sham wow but read so many complaints that it doesn't work like tv and it scratches your car.
If it truely works I'll grab a set.

I use the Absorber as well and works pretty well. But I have a little trick to get most of the water off first. Leave the car wash, find nearest freeway, put it to the floor and let it airdry, arrive at home and wipe off excess.
