okay i'm tryn to tint my taillights. but i always seem to get air bubbles in it. is there a certain kind of tint to use to what. help me out here.thankz
you could spray your lights lightly with windex, apply the tint, move it around where you want it,then squeegee the air and windex out. A buddy of mine said he did that, said he saw it on unique whips or something stupid like that, but i guess iv never tried it so i cant guarantee it. someone else might be able to vouch whether that really works or not. id research it more before you tried.

Take your time and be patient... they didn't come with instructions?
I mixed a spoon of dish soap and water into a small spray bottle and was patient... even though when I was done there were no bubbles, overnight they appeared... I had to let the car sit out in the sun for a good long time and voila, the bubbles were gone.

I kind of thought that may be illegal. Any thing covering the head light or tail lights.
as long the front amber lights and rear red lights are the respected colors they should be its not illegal. so just make that the front are amber when there on and the rear are still red when on. the only lights that are illegal to tint are headlights. the other lights as long as there still able to tell the colors its all good.
why not just take them to a custom paint shop and have them smoke them for you. its easier and looks much better no bubbles no film to deal with you should be able to get them done for about 100-150

i've tried the windex and soap. i think that i just need to take them out and do it flat. cause i just did on the car. didn't seem to work. but i'm going to give it another try. i was thinking of buying the cover but don't think so now. i'm only trying to tint the top part of the lights. not the sides or the back of it. so when i hit the brakes the red can still some out a bit. make it look like it's outlined. the front i'm gonna go lightely shade. then the sides.

Oh Ok. If you can get it to work they should look pretty good. Good luck.
