Default Moisture & condensation in headlights???

In 2007 I replaced my factory headlights because they were looking cloudy and one of them had moisture in it. I purchased aftermarket Depo headlights... I took the first set back within 3 months because condensation was building up in them. They replaced them with no problem... Well the 2nd set did the same thing... So I just picked up another replacement today.... With the 2nd set I sealed them with a silicone sealant, in hopes that they wouldn't leak or whatever... But they did it too? Anyone else having this problem? How can I fix this so this new set doesn't leak?

Also in 2002 I had my hood replaced because of a manufacturers defect in the original hood,... Could this hood not be mounted or adjusted correctly and be causing stress to the headlights?

Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.... Thanks so much....

Aftermarket headlights are not as good as the originals. I had the same problem with my 92 so I bought some factory ones and have not had anymore issues.

Many aftermarket lights do that, and I've never heard of Depo. The only ones I know that do not do that and need NO silicone, are originals and KSR. Every other one always seem to have that problem.
And maybe it's just me but I just don't think you should have to use sealant on brand new lights, therefore I wouldn't have any where that's required to do.
