Default Rear Bumper

The paint on my rear bumper has been peeling for a little whilte now and I have yet to fix it. I was told this was a common mustang problem and was wondering if it was true. Also how much would i expect to pay someone for just painting the bumper? Probably be smarter to just get an entire paint job huh? And does anyone know how much i should expect to pay for an entire paint job on my convertible? Its white now and i want to do white again with black racing stripes, anyone know an estimate on that? Any help would be great, thanks!

hey

i am about to get mine done at Mako. They dont do a show quality but it is good for 400 and thats the prep too. they got a large selection on colors too. I am gettin a good one for 400 but you could probly get a better or cheaper one.

If you just want a basic paint job then scot is right on. If you are looking for a show quality job, then you will pay more like $3000.00. The more you want, or need done, the more it could cost you. Good luck with the paint job, and keep us posted with pics when done.

Scot are u saying $400 for an entire paint job or just the bumper? Cause that alone is a lot cheaper than what i expected. I was thinking more in Ron's $3000 range for just a basic quality paint job. I'm not looking for show quality just factory. Thanks for you help! Sorry it took so long to respond.
