Question How to keep a new paint job in good condition

Just got my entire Stang repainted and it looks great, glossy and shinny and all that! What's the best way to keep your paint looking great and make it last a long time? Do you recommend any particular techniques or products?

Id say just wash her and wax her and post some pics of your car. I usually wash my car once every weekend and when the weather is nice I will wax it. Wax will usually last a while before you need to wax it again I use turtle wax ice liquid wax because it is safe to get on the plastic parts too.

Do not do any thing other then wash it for 60 to 90 days ( paint needs time to cure) ask your body shop for how long. After that i would clay bar polish then wax any good system will work depends on what shine and how much work you want to put into it good luck

Yeah, the body shop said to wait 60 days before I do any washing/waxing. I'll post some pics up soon, I'm really happy with the paint job!

Bumping an old thread to clarify. I just got my Cobra back from the paint shop today, How should I go about washing my car for the next 90 days (It will be staying in the garage for the next six months, winter sucks. . .) I'd just like to wash it before storage since it rained when I took her home from the shop.

So, do I take it to a car wash and spray the car myself as usual?
Am I able to dry it, or should I let it naturally dry?
