Default new cowel induction hood

im getting a new 4" cowel induction hood for my 1990 LX and im going with hood pins because i had a scare the other day where my hood almost flew up while i was truckin down the highway. however im not sure if i want to go with the lift off or stay with the OEM bolt on hindges. Does anyone have any advice to help me in my decision?

in my opinion i would use the hinges. that way u dont have to take the hood off everytime you want to mess with the engine. another reason, in my opinion, if the hood was only held on by pins the back end my vibrate some and mess up the finish on the paint or even the hood. just my paranoid opinion though
