Default Scrub a dub dub

Does anyone have any preferences on car care products? Not only for the body but also for my leather interior, wheels, and tires. Let me know! Thanks!

I use Zaino products for the entire care. Great stuff but expensive. Both Mothers and McGuires makes an entire product line to clean every part of your car.

I use Adams Car Products on my car. They have a full line from waxes to your tire dressings and everything in between. Lots of good stuff out there though.

Meguiars all the way baby!

Gold Class Car Wash and Shampoo
Scratch-X Scratch and Swirl Remover
Gold Class Liquid Wax
Hot Shine High Gloss Tire Coating

They make a pretty wicked clay bar kit too. Two bars, a bottle of spray detailer, a microfiber towel, a microfiber polishing cloth and a free sample of Meguiars Cleaner Wax.

Don't forget to pick up a few microfiber towels as well.

I've used all kinds of products on mine. There are quite a few good ones. The last detailing I did myself I used Turtle Wax Ice Liquid Polish and then finished it off with Meguiars NXT Tech Wax about a day later and it looked fantastic. You can use the Turtle Wax Ice Liquid Polish alone as well without waxing afterwards.

I always use Meguiars wheel cleaner on my rims. It's the only stuff I have been using for the rims. It's spray on and wipe off with a microfiber cloth. No need to hose it off.

And I love using quick detailing products. I spray on the quick detailer and wipe down with a microfiber cloth an average of every 2 to 3 days. I can do the whole exterior like that in about 20 minutes (helps having a vert). Mothers California Gold Showtime Quick Detailer is excellent.....and a close 2nd is Turtle Wax Ice Quick Detailer. I have also used a product from Griot's Garage called Speed Shine which is also excellent and seems to be the best product if you have to do a quick detailing in direct sunlight....doesn't seem to streak a lot.

Turtle wax liquid ice is the best wax in my opinion it gives a great shine and it is safe to get on the plastic parts of your car. Were as if you use a paste wax and get it on the plastic it will ruin it.

I couldn't resist! My cars are filthy, but heavy rain is forecasted for tomorrow. Today was OK, but opted for a Boston day trip. I need at least a 3-4 day clear weather window before the effort is made. Show those pics when you're done

Mine just got today with Zaino products. Except for the tires were done with a non-Zaino product. I have used turtle Wax Ice, McGuires NXT, and even products from Griot Garage. As I mentioned, I am partial to Zaino.

One thing I do like about Zaino (besides the mirror like shine) is that NOTHING sticks to the paint with a Zaino polish, not even masking/painters tape.

For the leather I use Lexol cleaner and conditioner. On the outside I use Mothers reflections.
