synthetic wax will take about 24 hours to cure you then cab wax with carnuba wax however synthetic wax should not go over carnuba wax ( will not adhere ) need to strip carnba off to use synthetic wax

wait, polish and wax are two different things....

you can claybar - then polish - then wax (some wax again) - then seal (many sealants take 24 hours give or take to cure)....

In my opinion only - and this is what I do with my car... Yes you can use Ice Polish then layer the carnauba wax over that... However - this year I'll be using a different polish.

Here's information from Maguires

Here's some info from Mothers

Can't wait to see what other's have to say! This is an interesting topic!!

After you clay bar you will want to polish and then wax. Not a huge fan of the synthetic waxes. I like the regular wax never had no problems with it.
Polish will help bring the color out on your car and the wax will just enhance and protect it.

I'm a bit of a wax junkie. I have about a dozen wax bottles and cans half full. I just tried Meguiars NXT2 (can) and that stuff worked excellent at getting the swirl marks out!
