Default Cleaning the black goo off of stainless exhaust tips

I have Borla Stingers that are only about a year old and I noticed black residue around the tips that would not wipe off with soap and water. I checked around on the net and all I came up with was the stuff Borla wants you to buy for $25.00 bucks. Then I remembered Sheila Shine. It worked great with very little effort. Check out the website Sheila Shine Plus it works on tons of other stuff around the house, garage, yard, etc. Much cheaper too. $7.00 a quart. Which will last practically forever.
Anyway, I thought I'd share that with everyone. Oh, and Ace hardware has it too. I think anyway.
Cheers!

Post Sheila Shine

It works great on the stainless outdoor grill if you have one. We have also used it on the teak wood on the boat.

i use the wd40 too. works great. also another little trick...windex on your chrome wheels. works wonders, no streaking of u miss a spot. also, if your tips get black pretty fast, doesnt that mean youre running rich? i guess id rather run rich than lean but mine get nasty in about a day.
