help with paint code

i have a 1998 v6 auto, it is red, but my sticker is all worn off on the bottom where my paint code is. all the mustang red for that year should be the same so i am wondering if someone else with this same year can give me their code. it is a darker, fire engine red for 1998

i will be getting pictures up, but right now my car is in the shop getting the bumber re-painted so i will just ask them

Take it to an auto supply store that has one of those paint coding machines. The last thing you want is to find out that the factory paint is NOT what is on your car. I had that happen with MINE… grrrr what a nightmare after I was hit this spring. Needless to say the sticker said green, they went with factory green and all the new parts were WRONG.

And then make sure your paint shop does a test plate before painting your actual car… you would be shocked at how many SKIP this step.

Yeah, I am in Insurance Nightmare right now over that crap……….
