Default Found scratches on my 06! Any recomendations on touch up paint to buy?

I found 4 little scratches on the trunk lid/rear fender when I went to wash my mustang last weekend. I have no idea what caused them, but I'm trying to figure out the best way to get them touched up.

Anybody have good or bad stories on what brand or type of touch up paint to buy? I've read some places you should use a "nick sander" then apply paint and clear coat, and other places just say to paint over it and buff. Any advice for a guy that's only painted one car and it really limited in body work?

Are the scratches all the way to the metal?

I don't think they're all the way to the metal. I'll have to check before I leave for work tomorrow to see how they feel with a fingernail though. I'm pretty sure it's just down to the gray primer.

The scratches feel smooth with my fingernail. I don't know if this pic will help much, but your guy's advice is really appreciated!

I would start off by trying some scratch X from a pepboys and see if you can rub it out by hand with a microfiber towel if you cant feel it with your nail this will probally work if not let me know

I picked up some Scratch X and it worked wonders! The scratches are gone and as far as I can tell it didn't hurt my clear coat at all.

I ended up waxing the car afterwards just to be on the safe side, I don't think I needed to do it though.

This Scratch X is great stuff! Thanks for the input!
