Default Before and After Wax job by hand

Hello all,

I recently bought a slew of Prima Car Care products from AutoTrix :: Home
; I found them on tech years ago, they sell alot of F-body stuff ( I also have 98 Formula ). Either way, they recently emailed me a discount coupon for 10% off my total invoice, so I couldn't resist. BTW code is "summersale" enter in while checking out. On a side note, the email also stated that they will soon be selling mustang accessories- specifically starting with sequential tail light harnesses.

On to the results! Okay the Subject is my wifes 98 Honda Accord with 189,000 miles. Here are a few before pics:

These pics are after a normal wash job.
I did a quick clay job and followed with the waxes. I used the Prima Epic synthetic Sealer because I wanted a longer lasting wax- I let it on the car for about an hour and a half while I detailed the inside with Nero and Nourish. Nero is an awesome interior plastic cleaner, but thats another story. Next I buffed off the Epic from the whole car, mind you that I do not own a Orbital Polisher of any sort. My last step was a product called Slick- and it is great stuff. It is safe and usable for plastic, paint, rubber and windows, so I coated the whole car in this stuff and buffed that off for the final results:

Here is a door shot:

Pictures dont quite give the same effect but you can sort of see the Blue Metallic Flake in these fender shots:

Next up is the Cobra, although I am going to use the Prima Banana Wax on her. Overall I like the feel, smell and results of all of these products. I will post the cobra pics as soon as I get done.

Looking good. How long did that take you to finish.

Great shine job, it also looks like you have done all the work on your knees.

LOL, I have been eaten up with jean comments, but its okay- they are my most favorite comfortable pair EVER!

Thanks, I am no body pro by any means. To be honest there were to spots inperticular that I used "Swirl". But I didnt focus on those spots in the pics. The car has kitty cat paw swirls all over. The waxes did a great job of filling spider webbing. I also used the last of my "Amigo" on the hood only, its a pre-synthetic wax filler and bonder. I guess every little bit counts!

The whole job took me about 3 hrs.
