I just got my 97 cobra taillights in the mail today and there is this scummy residue all over 4 of the 6 lenses and it looks awful, I have no idea what it is and it wont come off with water, soap or all purpose cleaners. Ill post a picture soon.
anyone have ideas or experience with this?

Have you tried the Maguires cleaner and plastic polish stuff? I have some and it cleaned my headlights to the point they almost looked brand new...and this is on a 97.

twilight...congrats. on buying the 96+ tailights im not a big fan of those 94-95 tails...but thats just my opinion...and apparently yours too.

actually UPS took the fall, they're taking the taillights in a couple of days and Im getting my money back. I NEED 96-98 TAILLIGHTS! My sequncer kit is coming in days! Well I like my 94 taillights they just cant even come close to the later style though, i melt everytime i see them all lit up on the highway

They just took thema few minutes ago but Im thinking about buying another pair thats for sale right now. They have white primer spray on them though, what kind of paint should I use to paint the bezel and what can I use to get dried paint off the lense..or does anyone know where i can get a set for around 75$ that DOESNT have something wrong with them??
