Default first clay bar experience!

today i got the mcguiers clay bar kit.

came with 1 bottle of quick detailer ( i use regularly and have 3 bottles... i dident need a 4th )

1 micro fiber cloth

1 bottle of wax ( enough to do my car even though i still had my old can )

2 clay bars

1 clay bar container


couldent be more easyer. wash car


soak in detailer...rub clay bar.... i gotta say it was looking great... then i waxed it...and hot sh....t it looks freaking amazeing.


i took pics on my cell phone, ill post em up later

Clay bar does a nice job of removing surface contaminants... the cleaner wax is the bomb though!!!

Can't wait to see some pics!!! Let's go, get them up here!!!

Cool, I bought some of the same stuff and am planning to do the full deal for the first time this weekend. I can't wait to see the results!

today in the morning i remembered that i have a Mcguiars clay bar kit .. and was thinking about giving some clay bar treatment to the stang.. but im not sure how to apply it.. is the same as the wax?

tnx judi, never noticed the pined thread, lol. Im just a little bit afraid of wearing out the clearcoat if i dont do it the right way

Whatever instructions that came with your kit... follow them closely. Only clay your car when needed - wash your car - run your hand over the finish, if it feels rough - you need it... if your paint feels smooth, you don't need it...

Also... max - like someone said - is 2x's a year, but if you maintain your car... you should only need it once a year...
