Default How to remove Tar and which product?

Mine has an inch of tar on front right side past the wheel.

So how can I remove the tar with which best product should I buy and do it?

I have to constanly use Turtle Wax's Bug and Tar Remover because they have been working on a road that i always take. It works great. It comes in a black bottle. You can get it at Walmart.

Don't forget to clean, polish and wax the area after you remove the tar.

Mineral oil (baby oil) will also remove tar.

Guess what? I didn't need anything, really at the time.

I felt it by my finger at first and realized that it got so soft much like it just came on it from the asphalt minutes ago (but wasn't till few days later).

It was due to too much raining and humidity so it was an easy job with a microfilm and one spray of Durcoat... it all came off with ease so the rain was a blessing! lol

However, I did buy a Goo Gone in case it occurs again. I was looking for a Tarminator but the local auto stores don't sell them and do have Turtle's.

I detailed cars for a living at one time. The Turtle Wax tar remover is fine. As I said before, just make sure you clean the paint and give it a good polish and wax afterwards.
