Your car looks good but I'm not a fan of the Ice. I use Meguiars for everything.
I think people limit themselves by becoming loyal to one particular brand. There are many many brands that are terrific products out there and I like to use a combination of many of them.
As I mentioned before, last Summer I used the TW Ice Liquid Polish and then a day later I finished it off with Meguiars NXT Tech Wax and the results were amazing even without doing a clay bar.
For instant detailing spray I have used many and all have great qualites. For the best cleaning I am using Obsessive Detail Waterless Wash, which also leaves a very nice shine. But for the best shine in an Instant Detail Spray I use Mothers California Gold Showtime Instant Detailer.
There are just so many great detailing products out there that I like to try as many as I can....and I really have not hit a clunker yet.
I don't usually stick to one product line either BUT I love the Ice line. I like being able to put it on the black rubber parts without it turning white.
I still use Mother's Clay Bars and detail spray but I do love the TW Ice.
You will always be hyper-critical of your efforts on your car but the pics do it a lot of justice.
Nice work!

Also, thanks for all the info on other products as well. Like Fuzzy, I am not brand or product type loyal. If it works, I'll take it. If it really works, I'll take three. I guess I will be viewing this thread from time to time to see other options that everybody had posted.
I know I will not be using the TurtleWax Tire Shine again, although I will be keeping that brush so I don't spray direct and contaminate the body and wheels. The TW tire shine slings too much even after a day. I had better luck with Tire Black and Armor All.

quote=GTRonn;1560224]Here's another first for me.
I had some free time over Memorial Day and gave her a complete clean and polish treatment. First I washed her using TurtleWax Ice car wash, then used the Ice clay bar, then Ice polish. I used a paint and chrome cleaner that I use for my bike on the wheels, but I used the Ice Tire Shine, which I didn't like because even a day after I applied it, it still splashed a little bit on my paint after driving.
Took me approx 1 hr 30 min to wash, clay bar, and polish. Another 30 minutes for wheels, windows, and windshield. And maybe another 30 minutes for cleanup. Not bad for a two and a half hour job, but I feel like it's not car show clean yet. You tell me. Can Zaino or any other product do a better job in about the same amount of time?
Attached are a few pictures. But I took a bunch of them including the mod parts and put them in YouTube for convenience. If you wish to watch the video make sure to turn on High Quality (HQ) for clearer pictures.
The only thing about old fashion wax is it doesn't last as long. It's great for showing your car indoors. But a few days of really hot sun will actually thin out the wax. This is often the reason why people think one wax doesn't work as well as another.
The latest stuff chemically bonds to our surface and lasts longer. I think if you prep your surface well, (wash, clay, wash again, then detail to bring out the shine) then protect it with a good product it will be hard to tell the difference.
BTW...Consumer Reports rates TW producte very well. They didn't rate TW Ice though. Also, they note the best thing you can do for your car to maintain a great appearance is simply wash it each week. The clear coat alone should last and keep the car looking great if you keep the surface clean.

Ronn.....I've been searching for a really good tire dressing for quite some time. I have used Mothers, TW, etc....but all are sprays. I might try a tire gel next. I don't think I have used Tire Black or Armor All yet....I might try those.
And get the CDC Light Bar for that sweet vert.....it would look awesome on your ride !!
BTW... I forgot to mention. That engine bay was not cleaned at all. After I took the pics. I just wiped off all the oily dirt with a rag. Everything I can get that rag into, I wiped it. I still haven't tried engine detailing. Still too ignorant and scared to do it. I know somebody who will do it professionally for $25. I think it's under the table because he takes cash only. But it looks new and he applies some kind of dressing that makes everything look shiny. I'll do that prior to winter storage.

Wow. You are quick at washing your car. I'm just real slow I guess. It must take me around at least 1 hour to just wash and dry the car. I just recently bought the "Clay Magic" kit. I really like how it worked. Course, I only did the hood and rear bumper which were the ones that desperately needed the clay treatment. My problem is the fallout on the rear bumper of my car just won't come out. Guess I'll try it again next week.
I use the "Ice" wash soap and was considering the clay kit. Good to hear that it works well. I might get a kit for my wife's car.

Fuzzy makes a good point. I've tried quite a few different products, many that have been listed in this thread and end up going back to the Zaino, which I've used since 1999. I still haven't found a product that gives the protection and luster like Zaino. Yea, it's a tedious process and does take time, but the end result is worth it. Loyal, sure, but I'm always on the look out for something better and I've yet to find it, IMO.
Yeah I agree. Zaino might be more work, but the results are great and it lasts.
BTW...I learned from experience that when you was a car a slight film may remain on your car. It looks clean but check your windows and you'll see. I find if I simply use detailer on the car it is a perfect prep for wax. So my car detailing cycle is wash, clay, wash again, detail, Z2, detail, Z2, detail. I've been trying the Zaino Clear Seal and like it. It's easy to use like Ice.
But I truly believe starting and finishing with a detail spray yields optimal results. I know, lots of work. I set aside two days for this. But it lasts all season and all I have to do before a car show is wash and detail. Nothing more.

Which reminds me... I do use Eagle One's Wax As U Dry when drying it after washing. It brakes up the water when it's applied. What do I mean? You'll know when you see it yourself. It makes drying so much faster, with one or two strokes most of the time. When the water is broken up, the leather chamois absorbs it so much better. Plus, the more wet the surface is, the better it works. You actually need water on the surface for it to work. That really cuts down on wash and dry time.
Here's the cunundrum:
Which one is better? Spend a couple of hours to wash and polish more often with TurtleWax because it doesn't last as long as Zaino, or spend long hours to wash and polish with Zaino, but do it twice or 3 times a year only since it lasts and stays longer?

Here is my take......I know people tout Zaino as the be all and end all....but I have seen my car next to cars that have used Zaino and I really could not see that much of a difference if any at all. So for me, the extra work and expense to use Zaino would not be worth it.
I actually just had my car detailed professionally last month, and while I don't know what products they used, they did an outstanding job and I would put my car's shine right now against any Zaino shine. (I'll probably find out they used Zaino....LOL.....actually I am 99% sure they don't).
But I have always been impressed with the TW Ice shine, especially after I used the Meguiars NXT Tech wax a day after using TW Ice. It may not have been the equal of a Zaino shine but it was pretty damn close....
