Looks great! But don't you ever worry that a bird might come by and leave its lunch on your hood near the end of the cleaning process? I do.

I just washed my car today with all Meguiars Gold Class leather (lotion bottle kind), wash, and wax in the can, tire spray it came out awesome looked like a brand new clearcoat applied to my car, took me around 3 hours to do including vacuuming, i recommend Meguiars Gold class products, tho its the first product ive usd on my car so, well see in a month or 2 when i go and try out something new
I am a big ziano fan that being said I think any car that you claybar and use a good polish and top coat of wax will look outstanding. Fuzzy is right his car is as good as any. However it's what finish you look for, I have 3 different vehicles and use a different combo of zaino on each to get just the right look. I'm not sure I agree with the statement that ziano is harder to use then others but then again they do have many different products so depends on what finish look your after. Over the years I have tried many waxes the reason I tried zaino was it seem to be the bench mark everyone used. I figured I'd try it I like it so much I now do all 3 of my vehicle with it and ones a work van.I'm sure many products look as good as zaino or even better but It is hard to find a better product that will last as long as Zaino. Zaino now has towels going to order soon

You were already the cause for me getting chrome rims....are you going to make me shell out for Zaino too ? lol
I think the consensus is that Zaino definitely lasts longer than the other products which certainly is a big advantage. And no doubt it is one of the top, if not the top, shine.
I definitely agree with you about the clay bar. That makes a world of difference when getting a super shine no matter what product you use. The professional detailing I got in April was the first time my car was clayed, and the difference in the shine and especially the finish is striking.
Just for the record, I have no issues with how long ICE lasts on my wife's car. It seems to have the same durability as Zaino on my car. Some people have said it doesn't last as long. I wax my cars twice a year and both look great and bead water a solid 6 months, even with our winters and extensive use of salt. I personally think you can't go wrong with either.
Seems to me the choice of wax is a personal thing we are unlikely to change once we settle on what we like. I believe it's the "if it ain't broke..." belief. Also, I feel if I tried something else and was disappointed I might not have the energy to spend the time to do it over with my original product of choice.

Very good point !! How bummed would you be if you did all that work and then discovered you didn't like it as much as your original product.
But as they say....nothing ventured nothing gained...
i have used almost every type and brand of wax there is it seems like because a good friend of mine owns a detail shop. IMO the shine u get from NXT generation is the best when applied using a buffer/polisher. it out preformes even the proffesional products he has. its best to use some form of clay bar prior to buffing because u dont wanna be waxing over any particles or debris. if im looking for a quick and easy wax then the TW ice is my choice, but IMO nothing beats NXT generation, especially on darker paints. just my .02
Ronn.....I've been searching for a really good tire dressing for quite some time. I have used Mothers, TW, etc....but all are sprays. I might try a tire gel next. I don't think I have used Tire Black or Armor All yet....I might try those.
And get the CDC Light Bar for that sweet vert.....it would look awesome on your ride !!
I used the Armor All Extreme Tire shine gel and really liked it but wanted to try some other things so I tried the Meguires Gold Class Endurance Gel I hated it. The first time I used it was ok but the applicator and bottle were very oily when I went to go apply it the second time. But with both of them the gel is very liquid like and less gel like. I would go with the Armor Alll if I had to chose though.

Yeah I agree. Zaino might be more work, but the results are great and it lasts.
BTW...I learned from experience that when you was a car a slight film may remain on your car. It looks clean but check your windows and you'll see. I find if I simply use detailer on the car it is a perfect prep for wax. So my car detailing cycle is wash, clay, wash again, detail, Z2, detail, Z2, detail. I've been trying the Zaino Clear Seal and like it. It's easy to use like Ice.
But I truly believe starting and finishing with a detail spray yields optimal results. I know, lots of work. I set aside two days for this. But it lasts all season and all I have to do before a car show is wash and detail. Nothing more.
Sounds like we both may have learned from the same source. I even spray the micro fiber pads with the detailer before applying the polish's. I wasn't gonna say the time involved, but yea, it does take about 2 days for the complete process. Just finished the wifes GT Vert in preperation for the MCA Show in Indy next month and it took 2 days alright, and it looks Marvelous. She's doing the interior cleaning today, so all we'll have to do next week before we head out is just wash mine and hers and detail spray them. Got some new stuff for the wheels from Eagle One--Keep Clean Wheel. Will see if it helps keep brake dust off. Those big 14" Brembo's love to shed brake dust.

Good point. Thats why last year for some shows, I used the Obsessive Detail products on the wifes Vert and kept Zaino on mine. The shine from both was great and you really couldnt say one was better than the other, except her car won a few awards (damit) and mine didnt. What I like most about Zaino is its protection factor and even Justin, who sells the Obsessive Detail products will tell you, Zaino does protect better, but as for shine, they're both pretty equal.

Pik....funny you should mention Obsessive Detail Products.....Judi mentioned them in a thread a few weeks ago. So I ordered a couple of products from Justin. I got the Obsessive Detailing Waterless Wash and the Optima Instant Detailer/Gloss Enhancer.
The other day I cleaned up my GT with the Waterless Wash (which shines great on it's own) then about 30 minutes later went over the car with the Instant Detailer/Gloss Enhancer and the results were fantastic.
I am very impressed with the Obessive Detail products....really good stuff.
Iused both TW Ice today and Armorall tire shine. I only wax once a year and I find the Ice was still beading from last year. But I keep it pretty clean, don't drive in rain or snow, gravel roads and it's protected in a garage. The Armorall Tire Shine works very well.
