Default I can not get my windows clean!

I have 2 problems with my car.

1) I can not clean the windows, their are always streakie. I wash the car once a week and use standard windex with paper towels when Im done, but they always always have really bad streaks, its like some film is on it. any suggestions?

2) other problem is when it rains I get horrable water spots all over the car. anybody else dealing with this?

thanks for any help.

I hate the windows they are always dirty! I use the "streakless" cleaner yeah right. If I do not spend an hour going back and forth, there is always streaks
I use microfiber cloths, have tried mechanic paper towels. Newspaper leaves balls of paper.

The inside is always filming and from what I understand it's from the seats???

Have you tried claybar for the spots, takes some doing but I got some rain spots out that way

I hate doing windows. I started using balled up newspaper a while ago. It sounds crazy, but the ink actually shines the windows.

As for the water spots, maybe try rain-x? I use it and it repels rain very well.

Try "invisible glass" spray. It dosen't have any color or smelly stuff in it.
A decent polish should protect you from the spots, try a paste like turtle wax ice.

Don't clean them in while the glass is hot as the solution dries to fast.
Did you coat the glass with anything like rainX?
For window cleaning on the cheep, some white vinegar in water with newspaper gets then looking good. At least house glass.
If you got bug juice on them, soap and water first then a windex polish up.

There's a pinned glass thread... about how to keep glass clean at the top, check that out... I found that the sprays work great and to follow the directions. I clean my windows 2-3 times and use microfibers for the clean and then another for the dry off and repeat...

I was going to say this. Try newpaper instead of papertowels.
