Talking Decals!

I have a 2003 Dark Shadow Grey GT and I love the idea of adding mustang decals to personalize my look. However, I am trying to find a certain decal in lieu of the side rocker kit (seems everyone has that kit). Ya know the decals that Saleen makes for their mustangs, they are short side stripes that fade at the end ( maybe a foot long). Well, I have seen those stripes and instead of saying "Saleen" next to the stripe it says "Mustang GT". That is what I am looking for...I'm not trying to fool anyone into thinking I have a Saleen, I just think they look better than the rocker stripes. If anyone has seen these or knows where to buy them I will be VERY grateful!! Also, my rear bumper inserts are chrome (looks great with the exterior color) but it's hard to find other decals in chrome...do you all think if the rest of my decals are just silver they will look okay with the chrome? Or should I try my hardest to find all chrome? Thanks again for the help!!

I would look more towards the performance silver vinyl for the graphics and bumper fill ins. the chrome will not look right IMO. You maybe able to find the saleen graphics here

http://www.graphic-express.com/ford_n206_side.htm

I would normally be able to help you since I also own a graphics shop but I am currently away rom home. I will back at the shop Labor Day weekend. If you like I can beat the prices shown just PM me and I can give you some details.

Thanks for the help hmarv...odd that you think chrome wouldn't look right, I have had a lot of people compliment me on the way it looks as inserts for the rear bumper, guess you would just have to see it! Yeah we'll have to talk sometime about what I would like. " Performance silver", now what does that look like? Do you happen to have a website where I could look at that color? I know silver will look good with my color - silver will go well with the chrome bumper inserts that I have. Thanks again!!

Performance Silver is a metallic silver but not overly metallic I had it once on my car and will return with the silver where my yellow is. Chrome Mustang bumper letters loock ok but chrome graphics will not. Maybe I misunderstood the potential use of the chrome. What we call Chrome illusion vinyl, does not have a good life expectency at all. It will also scratch easily. The silver will definately be your best choice. I do not have a website but here is a site that has the vinyl we carry .

http://www.performancesign.com/text/...y/metallic.htm

The number is A5701-M for the performance silver and it is a 5 year vinyl. I could possibly send you a sample if you like. Just PM me with info.
