How many of you have silver stripes that have been replaced because they spotted.
Is it ok to put wax on them

They all do that to some degree. If you want vinyl stripes, just go ahead an figure on replacing them every 5 years or so. It's fine to put wax on them but it won't prevent spotting.

The spots are from letting the water spots dry on them. You can and should wax them as much as you like.

mine are taking a crap too spotting and cracking, o well thats vinyl for ya

I have an 07 Calif Edition black came with Silver racing stripes, I've had them replaced twice, It seems the sun turns them blotchy brown, So I'm going to take them off, their a pain , they look good . but a pain.
