Because of a fender bender, I am getting my 2001 electric green mustang repainted. Hood, passenger fender and door, front bumper. The roof, rear fenders, driver fender and door have several ugly chips and scratches as well. It's my daily driver and I don't have a garage to keep it in (yet). I don't plan to show it. But I will drive it until it falls off the road.

Should I go ahead and get the entire car repainted?

It seems like just breathing on the car leaves a blemish. Is your paint job this tender, too?

No my paint job is not. But I do keep mine garaged. I think that I would just paint what needed to be resprayed. If you are not planning on showing it and it is just a daily driver that is what I would do. However the paint may not match up.

Oh, all the shops I'm talking to are aware that if my car looks like crap they will be doing it over.
I suspct a couple are hoping I won't return.

just get the parts that need to be painted done just go to a good shop cause the previous owner of my stang had the passenger fender painted and it looks like crap they didnt match the color very well my uncle a body/paint guy said it looks like they just threw a shade of teal on there
