For those of you that own an 05-09 Mustang and still have your factory or an aftermarket honeycomb grille, what type of brush/rag/sponge do you use to clean your grille?
I usually use a microfiber and my finger and just wash every single opening by wrapping my index finger with the microfiber. That is the best way I've found to be able to properly clean the grille. While it works for me, it is very time consuming.
Do any of you use a different method that is more efficient, doesn't take as long, but still does a good job? If so, I'd sure like to hear it.

i get at the extremely tightly wedged bugs with a q-tip cause my recent trip down to North Carolina caused a massive amount of bugs to die at the hands of my front end
Honestly, really just a paper-towel or rag and i work it in and out. but when i looked at the grill when it had to be removed for the hood pin install, its really dirty under the grill. I might just remove it..... just to clean it. I'm totally not modding anything..... i swear!

I pretty much do it the same way for the most part.

I get these from walmart. They come in different sizes and are cheap. Work excellent on the grilles and other places too. spray some tire shine on them and your good to go.

I spray the grills with Wheel Magic wheel cleaner for clearcoated wheels and brush them with a wheel brush being careful not to hit the paint. Then I hose 'em off. Does nothing to the body paint but remove wax, which is not a bad thing, since more is going on. Looks new. It also cleans up the aluminum radiator behind it.
I clean the grills and wheels before washing and waxing the rest of the car.
I use the above foam brushes to apply some shine slime afterwards.
