Hi everyone! The side moldings on my Stang have a slight yellowing to them. Are there any tricks to getting this out (waxes?) or do I have to fork out the $$moolah$$ for a repaint or just buy new ones? Sorry if this is a no brainer.. never owned a white car before. Thanks

Anyone want to help a newbie out?? Just wanted to see if I would be wasting time trying to wax that crap off my car. Was thinking about using Meguiars cleaner wax -> Polish -> and carnauba wax. Says nothing about getting out discoloration though.

Is the discoloration in the paint? or just old bad wax? Sounds stupid I know, but have no ideas what to do to help you out. It can't hurt to try and clean it up.

It seems like it's in the paint to the naked eye. Your absolutely right.. I need to get off my lazy butt and wax the entire car anyway. Guess I will find out then. Thanks for the input.

i painted mine w/ those glass bottles that you put paint and thinner in then screw on an aerosol type can. like a spray paint can but works alot better and can get the paint mixed to the factory gfx color. i actually sprayed all of my gfx and it looks tons better
Thx madmaxin. Your car looks sweet New paint job is next on my list.. I'll just wait till then. Got a quote of $1800 at a local shop for a respray of white. Gonna check out some of their jobs next week. Hope I get my $$'s worth!! $1800 seems a little low for a quality job. Seems too good to be true. We will see....

ever get your car painted 92??? i am considering it hardcore just buying a cowl hood and getting the tops of the fenders hood bumper and the pieces around the cowl for like 450ish.... or doing the whole car and prob having 1500 into it total and buying all new badges and striping. just wondering if u did anything
