Is there a way to clean the smokeyness off of the headlights? I have seen some stuff you can buy, but I didnt know if there was a "good ole fashion" way to do it that doesnt cost anything or very little. Thanks

Someone told me toothpaste works real well! I have used Mothers Plastic Cleaner and that helped a bit - but the kit I bought didn't help... I ended up getting new lenses... others will have some help for you - I am sure!

That is good to know Judi. I was going to go and buy one of those kits for my work truck.

If you finally get them clean - you have to make sure you put a good wax on them and keep them protected - otherwise they'll go back to foggy again....

If they're really bad, you're going to have to sand them.

3M makes a kit with a series of discs. You can find it at many auto parts stores or even Wal-Mart in their body shop section for about $20.

You'll still probably want to follow with a plastic polish like the Mothers on a PowerBall, and use it on a routine basis.
