Unhappy *URGENT* i left the top down in the rain

i duno where to post this or anything but i'm kinda just freaking out

it wasn't supposed to rain till this afternoon and i fell asleep studying last night only to wake this morning to rain. and i most definitely had not put the top up on my car (89 lx). so i ran out to put it up, which of course made all the water that pooled in the folded top spill into the back seat and in general this morning has just kicked so much ass.

the int is fabric and has been through a rainy spot before but that was back in the day when it wasn't my car to deal with...this one is actually my parents car, they have mine (same thing) at home getting some work done while i'm at school.

any ideas on drying would be GREATLY appreciated and PLEAAAAAAAAAAASE don't tell me I need a whole new interior cuz I know from experience that I don't. But ugh....help!!!!

LOTS OF SUNLIGHT

Consider taking it to a pro, they might have a heavy duty dryer, and might as well have the interior cleaned professionaly.

If that fails:
Remove the carpet and insulation, seats, etc and expose to sunlight for a full day or 2.
Prestone carpet and interior cleaner works like a charm on stains.

Wet vac first. Then remove everything and hang it out to dry ! Carpet, underlay and seats need to dry properly otherwise they will stink. Hope you have a garage.... Use a small fan heater to dry out the car.

That sucks! I always try to put my top up when I get out of my car unless I know for sure I will be driving shortly after that. Again it doesn't rain much in Dallas unless its spring or winter time. I just try to make it a habit. Sorry about your luck. Just try the shop vac and air dry everything. Good luck.
